Neurons that Fire Together, Wire Together
After learning about the idea that “neurons that fire together, wire together,” I began to see the brain in a new light. I was amazed to discover that the human brain contains around 86 billion neurons —that’s more than ten times the number of people living on Earth. This made me realize… we are not just a physical body. We are a living symphony , a universe within , constantly moving and evolving. These billions of neurons aren’t acting alone. They’re always working together , communicating , learning , and adapting —moment by moment. Who could possibly guide such intricate harmony? Only something infinitely intelligent , infinitely loving , and infinitely present . The poem below was inspired by this reflection—an offering to the sacred intelligence that lives quietly within each of us.
